Ingredients: 1 cup warm water 2 teaspoons active dry yeast 1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 1/2 cups to 3 cups of white flour (for whole grain crust try a mixture of white and whole grain flour) In a large mixing bowl combine yeast and sugar with warm water. Stir until yeast is dissolved. Let set until yeast is foamy, about 5 minutes. Add salt, oil and 2 1/2 cups of flour. Stir until combined and dough forms a ball. Dump dough onto floured board and knead until dough is no longer sticky. Add flour as needed.

Spray mixing bowl with no stick spray and place kneaded dough in the bowl. Let dough rise in a warm place for 25 minutes to 1 hour or until almost doubled in size. Spray pizza pan with no stick spray. Punch dough down and shape to fit on pizza pan. If thin crust pizza is desired split dough in two and shape dough to fit 2 pizza pans. Use floured hands to press dough onto pans.
Pizza topping suggestions: spread one 8 oz can of tomato sauce onto crust. Sprinkle with garlic powder, oregano and/or basil. Top with shredded cheese, turkey pepperonis, canadian bacon, or cooked ground turkey, chopped bell peppers, chopped onions, or black olives.
Bake in 450 oven for 13—15 minutes (use lesser time if making thin crust pizzas)
