Ingredients: 2 tablespoons olive oil, canola oil (or other oil of your choice) 2 tablespoons flour 1/4 cup chili powder 2 cups water 1/4 cup tomato sauce 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon cumin
Heat oil in medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Add chili powder. Stir and cook one more minute. Gradually stir in water and mix well. Stir in tomato sauce. Season with salt, garlic powder, and cumin.
Reduce heat and simmer 10-15 minutes or until thickened as desired.
